Sharing a FB live conversation that just finished on Native American Health Disparities here in Minnesota: https://www.facebook.com/mnmed/posts/ This was done through the Minnesota Medical Association and I think the speakers really brought up important points. My highlights are: the various examples of culturally specific and relevant programs in their clinics, the point about looking at opportunity and not just scarcity (which is how the systems operate), and the encouragement for folks to really understand American Indian culture versus just seeing practices on a surface level.
