Mapping the Gap: Examining Child Care Supply & Demand Across the Country

Following the inaugural launch of our Child Care Deserts report in fall 2016, Child Care Aware® of America is working with several states to take a deeper look at and map their unique stories in our series on child care supply and demand mapping: Mapping the GapTM. For each featured state, we explore and examine gaps in child care supply and demand, concentrations of CCDF voucher allocation, as well as an issue identified as a priority by states. The interactive story maps and resources above developed for each of the states are the result of collaboration between child care resource and referral (CCR&R) agencies, various state agencies and partners, and the CCAoA research and NDS teams.
